Chapter 2 Life Is Strange: Before the Storm Episode 2 Brave New World

This chapter features a thorough walkthrough for the second part of the second episode of Life is Strange: Before the Storm. This part describes the events that take place on the scrapyard, where Chloe goes after arguing with Joyce and David. The graffiti are mentioned in this chapter as well, although only in a short way. More thorough description of graffiti can be found in the Graffiti chapter of this guide.

Car

Once you get to the junkyard, Chloe will pull out a battery from an old car. You will need to look for a different one.

During the search you can climb on a boat (BOAT). In order to do it, first you must try climbing on it (CLIMB). The attempt won't be successful. Before the next approach you must select the PALETTE and move it (PROP UP). Once the palette is set, try climbing the boat again. There you can make graffiti or climb higher (CABIN). Once you do it, a scene with Chloe's monologue will start. Then you can leave the boat (to Climb Down).

There is a radio behind the boat. You can pick it up and turn it on. Chloe will place it on the window.

Behind the boat there is a box next to old barrels. OPEN it. Inside you will find a figurine. TAKE it.

Run behind the school bus. There you will find a white pick-up. Pull the battery from it. First select the HOOD and try opening it (OPEN). After an unsuccessful attempt you must walk towards the place with driver's door. Select PULL and then LATCH. Once you do it, pull out the battery.

Go back to the first car. Put the battery inside it (BATTERY TRAY) and enter the vehicle. Chloe will use a screwdriver to start the car. Inside the vehicle check the damaged chair, the floor and the lamp. Place the figurine you found on the front.

Leave the car. TAKE the pirate flag from the boat.

Go back to the place where Chloe left the radio. Behind the wall, near the seat there is a decoration (CHRISTMAS LIGHT). Chloe will unscrew one light (TAKE).

Walk towards the white pick-up. In front of it there is a wiper in front of it. Pick it up (TAKE). Go back with all those items to the car.

Place the wiper on the floor, the flag on the seat and screw the light into the slot for the upper lamp. Chloe will sit and enjoy the car. Her phone will ring. Frank will have a business with her.

Once the conversation is over, you can paint graffiti, check the storage (OPEN) from which Chloe will take some items, turn the lamp on (TURN ON), use the horn (HONK) and play with the figurine (BOBBLE). In order to end this part of the game, light the cigarette (SMOKE).

Father

After smoking the game will save and you will regain control when Chloe will sit next to her father. You can examine her father and the marshmallows (LOOK).

There are marshmallows between Chloe and her father. STAB a marshmallow with a stick.

Start roasting the marshmallow (ROAST) and then initiate a conversation with father (SPEAK). Once the conversation is over, Chloe will wake up.

Meeting with Rachel

Chloe wakes up when Rachel comes. The girl will ask Chloe can she enter inside. There a conversation will start.

1)Of course.

2)Not sure.

1)Escape?

2)I hope.

1)Us?

2)Pretty wild?

Therapies

During the conversation Rachel decides that she will become Chloe's therapist. The girl will share her problems.

You can talk about 3 topics.

1)David.

2)Blackwell.

3)Fire.

If you choose "David", three more choices will appear

1)Stepdouche.

2)Stepdick.

3)Stepfuck.

After the first choice you can tell Rachel that now it's her turn or you can talk about other topics. You can ask her about three things:

1)Fire.

2)Truck.

3)Play.

If you select the play, new dialogue options will become available:

1)You're not like him.

2)I won't let you.

After this conversation Rachel will leave the car and leave some things. Chloe will move with them in order to create a "hideout".

Hideout

Once Rachel leaves, Chloe will go to the hideout to set things there. There you can paint graffiti on the right wall.

On the left side from the entrance there is a tapestry. HANG it.

Near the entrance door there is a dart board. HANG it as well.

The last thing you should do in the hideout is changing clothes. You can select clothes from items received from Rachel. If you have the collector's edition, you can also select clothes from the basic version of the game.

After leaving the hideout Chloe will go to Frank.
