Iran and the United States have been at odds with each other during the Trump administration, leading to tensions that could lead to world war 3 if not kept under control. With fears of a possible all-out conflict brewing, Iran has recently boasted of its secret weapon that may give them an advantage over the US.
Dr. Pupak Mohebali of Volant Media UK’s Iran International TV warned that Iran has previously boasted of possessing secret military weapons that could be used against its adversaries in case of an all-out conflict. Speaking with Express, Dr. Mohebali added that Iranian military generals had warned the US not to make any wrong moves due to this. Dr. Mohebali cited that the weapons the Iranian forces have could make US warships sink or destroy US forces in combat.
“It is interesting we are talking about secret weapons because in the past couple of years some Iranian officials disclosed some kind of secret weapon to use against the US,” said Dr. Mohebali. “For example, Iranian general Ali-Reza Asgari inferred and warned the US that Iran has an arsenal of unique secret weapons that could destroy American forces if they make any wrong moves. Or something to sink American warships in the Persian Gulf, another Iranian official mentioned.”
Dr. Mohebali went on to reveal that Iranian President Hassan Rouhani and his administration have already used Uranium enrichment to the extent of being able to use it as a secret weapon. However, the Iran expert noted that there would be no such weapon that Iran or the US can use without doing more harm than good to themselves.
The US also has ongoing tensions with China, especially over regional issues like Hong Kong, Taiwan, and most notably, the South China Sea. The US strongly opposes China’s claim of sovereignty over most of the highly-contested waters, which overlap with claims from surrounding countries. With the Biden administration taking a more diplomatic approach when it comes to foreign policy, China analyst Imogen Page-Jarrett said that US President Joe Biden is expected to be more collaborative towards the Communist nation compared to his predecessor Donald Trump.
Page-Jarrett explained that the US will be turning to its European, Australian, and Canadian allies when dealing with China. Page-Jarrett added that more dialogue between the US and South East Asian countries is also to be expected from the Biden administration.
