An unusual combination of a jRPG with an arcade game. The story of Sea Fantasy takes place in a submerged world and the key element of the game is fishing. We can "fight" the fantasy sea fauna using the fishing equipment we've built. It's also crucial to explore the dungeons filled with treasures and traps.

Sea Fantasy Description
Sea Fantasy is an independent arcade jRPG, in which we save the world with the help of a fishing rod and a hook. The development was handled by Metasla, a three-person studio from Japan mainly engaged in mobile games.
Story
In the world of Sea Fantasy, 70% of the continent was submerged as a result of the war. Rod and Axel set off on a fishing trip, during which they encounter a wounded glowing beast. The Dragon enlists the help of young men to stop the resurrection of the Black Dragon, a biological weapon used in war. It turns out that the world will be saved by the fishing skills of friends.
Gameplay
In Sea Fantasy we explore the open world alongside a companion, traveling both on foot, by ship and by submarine. The heart of the gameplay is catching over 100 types of "SeaAZ" - mysterious sea creatures. After casting the fishing rod in the fishing spot, the "fight" stage begins, in which we have to reduce the creature's life bar to zero by performing arcade actions within a certain time limit.
Animals caught in this way allow us to obtain materials useful for creating new fishing rods with characteristic statistics and hooks. The equipment also includes new types of bait and clothing. We earn money through trade and we can develop our character by advancing to the next levels.
The world of Sea Fantasy is full of dungeons where, apart from treasures, we encounter traps. Sea Fantasy sometimes switches from top-down to side-on view, presenting players with platforming challenges and testing our dexterity in fights with our opponents.
Engine and graphics
The Unity engine-powered Sea Fantasy features pixel art graphics reminiscent of titles made in the RPG Maker program.
